Starting a family! We started trying to conceive this month, November 2015.
We chart for prevention and this month I changed my charting app to “trying to conceive”; big deal because I’ve always wondered about that button. Basically it is the same except the app tells you when you really need to “do it”.
We decided on using the Shettles Method to try to conceive a boy. We thought a boy first would be ideal then if we have a girl, she has a big brother to help prevent her from dating. God laughs now and there is probably a little girl growing in my womb as we speak! That being said there is such a small window for conceiving that it is a little nerve-racking. We are thinking we will try this method for a few months and if we don’t conceive we will try the old fashion way. Because the window is so small I really didn’t want to mess it up so I bought Ovulation Test. It’s a good thing I did because my app was off by two days this month. It’s usually pretty on, I’m glad I didn’t trust it completely.
Now it’s just a waiting game! In the mean time I’m working on the nursery!
