This is a simple catnip tea recipe I sometimes use when I am not feeling well. Catnip is an amazing herb and can help combat restlessness, headaches and viral infections. I works well to sooth an achy or colicky stomach, and improve digestion. We have catnip planted all over the yard and it grows quickly.
2 cups boiling water
1 tsp dried Catnip leaves
1 tsp Spearmint leaves
Honey to taste
Put Catnip and Spearmint leaves into a french press or tea leaf infuser and pour boiling water over them. Allow to steep for about 4 minutes, press and pour into cup, add honey to taste.
